PENNIES FOR BABIES!!!!

I think EVERYONE should see this!!!!!  I encourage anyone who has never seen this and is in the downtown area to take a minute and look at this!!

This is a Memorial to the Missing!!

I found this AMAZING the first time I saw it when I went to FBC of Jackson to a Womens Convention.  This is a large Container filled with approxiamtely 50 million pennies that represent the number of abortions performed in the United States since 1973's Roe vs Wade.  This memorial is located right outside the Mississippi Baptist Convention Center in Jackson MS. It measures 13’ by 7’ and is constructed of heavy tubular steel and bullet-proof glass. The contents weigh 140 tons. The structure was donated and built by Laws Construction Company of Jackson.

This display will eventually be dismantled and the pennies — all $500,000 of them — will be placed in a special account to benefit pro-life programs.

Please take a moment to realize how many wonderfully beautiful baby boys and girls where never given the chance to experience love, be held, be cuddled, be kissed or even to breathe.  As a mommy to four amazing kids, I cannot imagine the thought or comtemplation of never having allowed them the chance of life.  I know, however, that there are many reasons for abortions, but the leading reason seems to still be, because they are "accidents" and/or "I cannot raise a child". 

Take a moment to say a prayer for all of these lost lives, and for the mommies who made this heart wrenching decision, that at the time seemed so right, but as they have "grown up" have realized was oh so wrong. 

Have you thanked God for your kids today?  If not DO SO NOW!  They are a WONDERFUL gift from him to you!!!!
