CHASE MATTHEW!!

OK -- first and foremost let me go ahead and sum Chase up in one word -- SPOILED!  Now that is over - let me tell you -- he is the most AMAZING WONDERFUL SUPER GREAT little dude ever!  His smile is contagious and his face is to die for!

After Scott and I were married in April - the following September I found out I was pregnant -- May 2004 he was born!!  I remember the nurse who was rubbing my hair (during my c section) saying to me, there he is - they are gonna clean him up and show him to the grandparents -- then the words rang out through the operating room --NO - THIS BABY AINT BREATHING GOOD - HE IS HEADED TO THE NICU!

Please know the feeling of helplessness when your whole body is asleep and you cant do anything or even check on him.  Needless to say it was HORRID.  Luckily - all was well within a very short time and I was holding him in my arms (where he is still at most of the time--hahaha)

Last year he started kindergarten and boy was that rough.  Being a true daycare baby and your mom being the Director he was spoiled rotten and school was not his thing.  We muddled through it.  It was hard on him -- but please dont forget that his mommy literally hyper ventilated!! It was horrible!  First grade is suiting us much better though!

Chase is a little ball of dynamite!   He loves to dance and sing and usually does it anywhere and everwhere - especially in stores where there is music playing!  It is great!  We do think that he may be the only musician we have in the family.  Chase says the funniest things in the world! 

We havent met anyone in the world that doesnt tell us how precious he is.  I know it sounds like I am tooting my own horn and I guess I am but God blessed me abundantly and I am proud to thell EVERYONE!!!!!

Chase loves to nestle his face in the crook of my neck and just let me hold him and hold him! He loves giving sweet kisses and LOVES to be loved on -- and I love it too!!!!   I am sad that Chase is my last little one and he is all grown up but I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO thankful that he is so AMAZING!!
