1. I wonder how in the world I ended up with all 4 kids selling fund raiser stuff all at the same time?? And all are selling cookie dough except for one?? How much cookie dough can I buy??? grrrrr
2. Yesterday was AWFUL!!! I had the mother and father of all migraines -- Shanna got sent to ISS for tearing a bad grade out of her signed papers --- Haylee had a swollen nodule in her ear that we had to go to the doctor for -- then the school called and Blaine had been eaten up by fire ants all over his arms (probably 40+ bites). Anyway -- we DID make it through though!
3. Friday night is Mamaw night - which means date night for mom and dad (much needed might I add)! We don't know what to do since our "date night buds" are going on vacation!!!
4. Speaking of that -- We are not too keen on the fact that our friends are leaving us for 4 stinking days! hmmmmmm what to do what to do?
5. Our church is redoing our sanctuary --- so we are now meeting in the fellowship hall -- they feel certain it will only be for a month though! I'm kinda looking forward to it -- gonna be fun!!
6. I am soooo super excited that we have a 3 day weekend! I need it! Wait all 4 kids will be home -- hahah never mind -- no break here! I do plan on the hubs painting the kitchen -- shhhhhhh he don't know that yet!
7. Does anyone have any idea how much homework you have to do when you have 4 kids? It is outrageous - not to mention Chase who is in the first grade is already finding complete subjects and complete predicates! I may need to go back to school before I get these kiddos raised!!!
8. We played Phase 10 dice last night -- It was sooo much fun -- even though Ms Betty beat us twice and Scott won once! I never win at luck games - -I ALWAYS win at scrabble --- notice I only win games where it takes brains to win --- ha ha! at least that is what I tell Scott!!!
9. In case none of you have heard --- mono is rampant these days -- in younger children --like 1 and up! It is crazy!!!!!!!!!! I have been working with kids all of my life and have never had a child with mono --- weird how things come around!
10. My mom and dad are hauling fema trailers these days -- soooo they are NEVER home! I miss them so much -- they are actually in Oklahoma today --- they are enjoying themselves because they get to go to lots of places they have never been! It is fun for them!!
Guess what--- I'm out of words! LATER!
Oh my goodness! Days like your Tuesday really make it hard to try and find ways to appreciate our days! How about appreciating that the day is over? =) Crossing my fingers about mono...That's crazy it's seen in kids that young! How scary!
ReplyDeleteI pray that you do have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY! Halfway thru to our 3 day weekend! So excited! Enjoy date night!
Don't do anything fun while we're gone. :-)
